AMGI was founded in 1993 by Stephen C. Armstrong with a vision to help organizations achieve innovation, operational excellence, and business transformation. Drawing on his experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, and management consulting at KPMG, Stephen brought a unique approach to aligning people, processes, culture, business psychology, and technology application.
Earning his CMC (Certified Management Consultant – Canada) designation in 1992, Armstrong established AMGI as a boutique firm delivering measurable results in engineering and operations management. From his early successes with major clients like McDonnel Aircraft-St Louis, Boeing-deHavilland, Bombardier Aerospace-Toronto, Messier Dowty (Safran) Aerospace – Toronto, Lockheed Martin-Texas, BAE Systems-UK, AMGI quickly gained recognition for expertise across multiple industry sectors. Today, AMGI remains committed to empowering organizations to innovate, transform, and excel globally via education, training and C-Level coaching.
