Part 1 – Barry Shrimpton
Aerospace Engineer Barry Shrimpton is based in the UK and for over 38 years has been at the forefront of the development of many of the world’s aircraft with a core focus on the European aerospace sector. His specialty is stress analysis of aircraft structures certifying that the main structures will remain intact to the limits of normal flying conditions. Today we here about his career journey as a sole contract engineer for a wide variety of companies and products. He holds an honors Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineers from the London Polyethnic – University of Westminster and he qualified as a UK Chartered Mechanical Engineer in 1990 (IMechE).
